Statement of Faith
A. We believe the Bible is the authoritative Word of God.
B. We believe there is only one God, eternally existent in three
persons; the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
C. We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His
virgin birth, in His sinless life, in all of His miracles, in His
substitutionary and atoning death through His blood which was shed on
the cross, in His bodily resurrection to the right hand of the Father
and in His personal return in victory and power. JESUS IS LORD!
D. We believe that all persons are sinful and lost and in need of
salvation and that that salvation comes only through the name of Jesus
Christ and His sacrifice on the cross.
E. We believe in the present ministry of God the Holy Spirit; in His
convicting, cleansing and empowering work.
F. We believe in the resurrection of all persons; that they are
resurrected to either eternal life and glory or to eternal damnation.
G. We believe in the spiritual unity of all Christians. We are the
church, united as the bride of Christ.
Our Values
• We value our personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
• We value the Bible as our sole authority for living.
• We value relationships with brothers and sisters in the local
church.
• We value relationships with brothers and sisters in the motorcycle
community.
• We value deeply those who have yet to receive the Gospel of Jesus
Christ.
• We value being IN the world but not OF the world.
• We value our government and its laws and so we obey them with
enthusiasm.
• We value our lives and our families and so we ride safe.
Who We Are
We want to be a witness for Jesus Christ to the world of motorcycle riders, for the
purpose of advancing the kingdom of God and making more and better disciples through
this ministry and the ministry of
the local church.
We have chosen to say "yes" to the call of our
King and to be followers of Christ.
To be men who have
allowed God to touch our hearts!
(1
Samuel 10:26) says "...and there went
with him a band of men, whose hearts God had touched."
The glory of God, the work of God, the Christian
home, the Church and its needs are dependent upon men. Men, whose
hearts God has touched.
The purpose then, of this ministry is the establishment of Band of
Brothers groups whose work is:
To help men discover their hearts, surrendering our desire for control and abandoning ourselves to
God's will, being likeminded and bound together as brothers,
Jesus says, "Anyone who does God's will is my
brother." (Mark 3:35).
To encourage Christian motorcycle riders to share
their faith through servant evangelism, "I beg you to lead a life worthy of your calling, for
you have been called by God." (Eph. 4:1).
To minister to one another and other riders as the
opportunity presents by mentoring, encouragement, education and holding each other accountable
through
this ministry for which each of us was uniquely
created, equipped and called to be part of,
"He has
commissioned us,
and he has identified us as his own by
placing the Holy Spirit in our hearts as the first installment of
everything he will give us." (2 Cor. 1:21-22).
E. M. Bounds once wrote:
"It is not great talents nor great
learning that God needs, but men great in holiness, great in faith,
great in love, great in fidelity, great for God. Those men can mold
a generation for God."
